Tuchel States No Problem with Bellingham, Foden, or Grealish

England's Head Coach Thomas Tuchel has declared that he has "no conflict" with Jack Grealish after these players did not make the England team for upcoming fixtures against Latvia and Wales.

The midfielder has not been recalled despite returning from a shoulder issue, whereas the Manchester City and Everton players also miss out although showing improved form with their clubs.

The German manager mentioned that the 22-year-old desired to be part of the squad, after a conversation with him via telephone.

"He is a unique talent, and for exceptional talents there can often be special rules," Tuchel remarked regarding the Real Madrid star, who's made just one start since returning to fitness.

"But we opted to stick with the simple decision of calling up the identical squad.

"Jude consistently merits to be here. There is also the situation that he has not quite regained his optimal form again at Real Madrid - he has not finished a full match.

"The player wanted to be selected. We had a phone call."

Tuchel made an effort to emphasize his good rapport with the midfielder following Tuchel apologized to him earlier this year for calling his conduct during a match as "repulsive" in a televised interview.

Tuchel stated that he uttered those terms "unintentionally" and would be more careful going forward.

When asked if he had a problem with the player, Tuchel said: "No. There is no issue either with Foden or Grealish.

"Phil is returning to influencing and shaping games for his club. Grealish is almost to returning to the best version of himself.

"There is no personal problem."

Bukayo Saka replacing the injured Noni Madueke is the only change to the previous squad, with Loftus-Cheek and Quansah keeping their spots after joining as late additions previously due to injury.

England play Wales in a non-competitive match at Wembley on this Thursday before a World Cup qualifier in Riga on October 14.

Should England win in the away fixture, they will need a maximum of two points from their final two matches - against Albania and Serbia in November - to earn a place in next summer's World Cup in North America.

Impressive Display Under Tuchel

The Three Lions delivered their finest performance by some distance under Tuchel's leadership when they beat Serbia 5-0 on the road in the Serbian capital in their previous match.

Tuchel stated that showing made it an easy decision to keep mostly the identical group, though "there are no certainties" for any player regarding selection.

"Our previous gathering was only a few weeks ago and the cohesion and morale was at its peak. That is the reason we decided to invite the identical players to this camp," he said.

"Phil is in a very good moment. Wharton merits to be with us. Curtis Jones and Trevoh Chalobah are earning minutes with their clubs.

"We have players who deserve to be here. Palmer is injured and is a special player. It will consistently remain the case.

"Are we a stronger side with Jude? Absolutely. But I told you before, what do we do if he is injured before the tournament? Do we just cancel?"

Tuchel's Press Conference Gets Noticed

Thomas Tuchel again gave a box office press briefing.

Tuchel, a expert of managing his interactions with the media, began with an initial remarks to set out his reasoning for his selections.

Bellingham is fit and available and wanted to come to camp, but the coach explained he preferred not to alter the team too much after a impressive 5-0 victory over Serbia - where the boss noted team spirit was at an all-time high.

However with him not selecting Bellingham, and his frequent comments about togetherness, it is difficult to avoid connect the two - although Tuchel insisted multiple times how Bellingham is "exceptional" and that there is "no issue" between him and one of England's star players.

Tuchel has consistently made it evident that he wanted to make the national team seem like a club side and, by retaining the identical selection after a statement win, he has done that. But the inquiries will arise once more in the following session if England perform strongly in these next two matches.
